Hear from our Apprentices
It has been a pleasure to join Whitetree as an Apprentice. I am learning entire new skill sets while working on the job, with constant support and guidance throughout the company. Even in my early career stage I count working in the world of Business Winning as my “second career”, after initially studying engineering at university. And it just so happens I am thoroughly enjoying utilising my interest in business and writing!
As an apprentice, I benefit from one day a week spent working on developing my skills through individual research and project tasks. I have joined a cohort of students also from a variety of backgrounds, all working towards the same qualification. It is fascinating to hear about similar roles in different companies and be able to network with other students.
One of my reasons for joining Whitetree was to learn from very experienced people in a variety of sectors. As a Bid Coordinator, I am able to learn all about the different services we offer and what kinds of tools / experience is needed for each one. Even now, it is difficult to answer the age-old question “What do you want to be when you grow up?”, but here I have the opportunity to put a number of new roles on the list! For now and the future, however, I have found being a Bid Coordinator to be very engaging and I am able to think and innovate as I go.
